How can we approach our vocation?

This week, our hosts Cody, Bethany and Jacob interview local Councillor for district 9 - Mudgeeraba, Glenn Tozer! Fascinating discussion about how we can approach our vocation. As a politician, Glenn shares that being a Christian is not always easy. However, he believes that the gifts God has given him has led him to achieve his role in a way which brings life to the thousands of people he cares for. Thank you for taking the time out to come and spend some time with us Glenn!

Producers note: From time to time we say things within the context of a podcast that we look back on and realise may not be entirely correct. Glenn makes a small comment during the podcast that people were never called Christians in the Bible. However through further discussion and research Glenn came to realise that there is a reference to people first being referred to as Christians in Acts chapter 11 and Glenn asked for this to be noted and corrected. I, Shane, as the producer of The Cross Discussion do not believe that this comment detracts from what is discussed during the episode. I hope that you would join me in my position, which is one of appreciating a person who can make a mistake and then humbly correct it, more than a person who doesn't join the discussion in the first place! May it encourage you, wherever you find yourself in your faith journey, to engage in spiritual discussion from a position of learning, openness, and humbleness no matter whether you have spent a few minutes or hundreds of hours considering matters of spirituality.
